WABC’s commitment to leading excellence is further demonstrated through the Professional Development (PD) Record which is required by holders of WABC’s advanced business coach credentials—CBC™, CMBC® and ChBC®. The PD Record, required for re-certification every five years, provides a necessary and significant developmental opportunity and supports the delivery of quality professional business coaching services to clients and their sponsors and organizations.
To provide ethically sound and expert guidance, professionals in all areas of practice must keep up to date on the latest research and evidence on how to effectively serve their clients’ needs. A clear professional development strategy allows business coaches to be relevant and innovative in providing the best possible expertise to their clients.
Holders of WABC’s evidence-based global credentials for advanced, master and elite business coaches—CBC, CMBC and ChBC—are required to re-certify every five years. The route to re-certification is through the submitting and passing of a Professional Development (PD) Record five years from the date a holder successfully completed their WABC Accredited® Program or WABC Portfolio Pathway, and every five years after that.
