The WABC Accredited® global mark is a program accreditation distinction that ensures programs offer the most comprehensive and robust business coaching training available in the world.
WABC offers program accreditation at four levels, and WABC Accredited (Level 4 – ChBC)® is our fourth and highest level of accreditation.
Level 4 is for programs that develop elite business coaches. Such programs facilitate the development of coaches through an intensive examination intended to consolidate the depth and breadth of senior professional practice. Accordingly, business coaches at this highest level of professional practice are expected to possess specialized knowledge and professional competence in order to apply business coaching in a variety of contexts, the outcomes of which may be unpredictable, and to exercise substantial personal autonomy along with significant influence, leadership and contribution within their organization, the profession or academic settings.
The WABC Business Coaching Competencies is the first-ever list of global, association-sponsored evidence-based professional competencies that define business coaching as a distinct discipline. These are applied at the appropriate level to all WABC Accredited® marks (program accreditation available at four levels) and to all WABC credentials (RCC™, CBC™, CMBC® and ChBC®).
The WABC Code of Business Coaching Ethics and Integrity embodies the highest ethical standards and is one of the most advanced and comprehensive codes of its kind in the world.
