All WABC Accredited programs engage in a continuous five-year process lifecycle (business coaching programs) or a three-year process lifecycle (leader-as-coach coaching programs) to ensure they meet our standards of excellence—from initial accreditation through annual monitoring to re-accreditation. This continuous lifecycle ensures the providers’ programs remain relevant in the market and continue to meet our exacting, evidence-based global standards for business coach training programs. WABC Accredited Statuses & Marks

All programs registered in the WABC program accreditation process will be added to our website to ensure the public has access to timely and appropriate information about a program’s status with WABC. Programs that lose their accreditation “may” remain on our listing for up to one year depending on whether they are in-house or open enrollment programs.

Statuses

All these statuses are issues by WABC:

Candidate
This status is for programs undertaking the rigorous initial program accreditation process. These programs have gone through initial screening for compliance with the standards that WABC requires for a training program providing business coach or leader-as-coach development at a specified level. The status of Candidate further means the program has met the basic eligibility requirements however this does not mean the program is guaranteed to achieve accreditation nor is it to be interpreted as an endorsement or recommendation by WABC.

Accredited
This status is for programs that have successfully completed either the rigorous initial program accreditation or re-accreditation process and been judged by the WABC Accredited Award Board to be consistent, substantively and procedurally, with the standards that WABC has identified as required for a training program providing business coach or leader-as-coach development at a specified level.

Accredited – Currently Inactive
This status is for programs that were previously awarded the Accredited status after successfully completing either the rigorous initial program accreditation or re-accreditation process and have now entered a period of inactivity and are at risk of losing their Accredited status within a specified period of time.

Accredited – On Probation
This status is for programs that were previously awarded the Accredited status after successfully completing either the rigorous initial program accreditation or re-accreditation process and have now been judged by the WABC Program Accreditation Director to be out of compliance with the accreditation standards (e.g., not operating at the same standard as accredited and/or not engaging in all the accreditation monitoring processes) and are at risk of losing their Accredited status within a specified period of time.

Denial of Accreditation
This is the status for programs that have gone through the rigorous initial program accreditation process and been judged by the WABC Accredited Award Board to be not consistent, substantively and procedurally, with the standards that WABC requires for a training program providing business coach or leader-as-coach development at the level the program was pursuing

Suspension of Accreditation
This status is for programs that were previously awarded the Accredited status after successfully completing either the rigorous initial program accreditation or re-accreditation process and have now been judged by the WABC Program Accreditation Director to be out of compliance with the accreditation standards (e.g., a provider is reported or considered to be conducting their program in an unprofessional or unethical manner, not in accordance with the accreditation standards or in any other way that will bring WABC into disrepute) and are at risk of losing their Accredited status within a specified period of time.

Revocation of Accreditation
This status is for programs that were previously awarded the Accredited status after successfully completing either the rigorous initial program accreditation or re-accreditation process and have now been judged by the WABC Accredited Award Board to be not consistent, substantively and procedurally, with the standards that WABC requires for a training program providing business coach or leader-as-coach development. Reasons for this status include that a provider is reported or considered to be conducting their program in an unprofessional or unethical manner, not in accordance with the accreditation standards or in any other way that will bring WABC into disrepute.

Voluntary Withdrawal
This status is for programs that have been voluntarily withdrawn by the provider from the WABC Program Accreditation process.

WABC Accredited Candidate (Level 1 – RCC)^®
This mark is for programs that have been issued the status “Candidate” (see explanation above) and are undertaking the rigorous initial program accreditation process at Level 1 – RCC.

WABC Accredited Candidate (Level 2 – CBC)^®
This mark is for programs that have been issued the status “Candidate” (see explanation above) and are undertaking the rigorous initial program accreditation process at Level 2 – CBC.

WABC Accredited Candidate (Level 3 – CMBC)^®
This mark is for programs that have been issued the status “Candidate” (see explanation above) and are undertaking the rigorous initial program accreditation process at Level 3 – CMBC.

WABC Accredited Candidate (Level 4 – ChBC)^®
This mark is for programs that have been issued the status “Candidate” (see explanation above) and are undertaking the rigorous initial program accreditation process at Level 4 – ChBC.

WABC Accredited (Level 1 – RCC)^®
This mark is for programs that have been issued the status “Accredited” (see explanation above) after they have successfully completed either the rigorous initial program accreditation or re-accreditation process at Level 1 – RCC.

WABC Accredited (Level 2 – CBC)^®
This mark is for programs that have been issued the status “Accredited” (see explanation above) after they have successfully completed either the rigorous initial program accreditation or re-accreditation process at Level 2 – CBC.

WABC Accredited (Level 3 – CMBC)^®
