WABC Certified Team Coach—held by professionals around the world—is a highly respected evidence-based global credential that raises your credibility and positions you as a professional team coach with practitioner-level knowledge and specialized coaching skills.
WABC offers a suite of two rigorous, evidence-based credentials for professional team coaches—practitioner and master. WABC Certified Team Coach (CTC) is WABC’s first and practitioner-level, held by team coaches all over the world.
Those holding CTC represent a wide array of professional roles – leaders, managers, internal and external business coaches, external consultants – and support clients, co-workers and organizations by applying their specialized skills to support improved team performance, team development and transformation. Accordingly, team coaches at this practitioner-level are expected to support the team’s systemic awareness, shared ownership, resilience and adaptability in the delivery of strategic business and organizational goals and objectives. Being a CTC means they are experienced in both business coaching and team coaching to provide a fuller professional offering.
To earn CTC, holders successfully completed a WABC Accredited (Level 1 – Team Coach)® Program.
In 2007, the WABC Business Coaching Competencies were the first-ever, global association-sponsored evidence-based professional competencies that defined business coaching as a distinct discipline.
