WABC offers a range of program accreditation, and WABC Accredited (Level 1 – RCC)® is our first level of accreditation for business coaching.
Level 1 is for programs that develop practitioner business coaches. Such programs develop the practice elements of business coaching and are for participants with limited previous experience with formal focused training in coaching skills or with some experience that they wish to consolidate fully with best practice. We identify practice in this context to be the application of technical skills within common scenarios while working with clients on their skills and competencies. Accordingly, business coaches at this practitioner level are expected to provide business coaching to a fixed agenda that is directly related to business and organizational outcomes.
The WABC Business Coaching Competencies is the first-ever, global association-sponsored evidence-based professional competencies that define business coaching as a distinct discipline. This list of competencies covers an impressive breadth and depth of professional practice and is applied (at the appropriate level) to specified WABC credentials and WABC Accredited® programs.
The WABC Code of Business Coaching Ethics and Integrity embodies the highest ethical standards and is one of the most advanced and comprehensive codes of its kind in the world.
