We are All Called to Rise
What a year we’ve had. 2020 has been fraught with uncertainty, geopolitical and economic stress, and accelerating health and social crises. There are people living many experiences through this time. Our families, our friends, our communities, our careers, and our psyches have all taken quite the hit. Many of us feel depleted and worried. And yet.
We are still here. We still look to each other to bridge these uncommon and difficult times. We still find togetherness, although it looks different than we may have expected. We are still grateful for each other, for the care and work to keep one another safe and sustained. Despite all the hardship we’ve faced, our dedication to each other is our simplest and strongest calling.
This year, we have each been called to rise, but none of us more so than leaders. It’s easy to lead through the good times—but to lead through challenging ones is critical.
At WABC, we are proud to be home to leaders. For people who dare to commit and see a way forward when the road ahead is unclear. Who guide others through the challenges that define their personal and professional lives. That is the beauty of how we practice business coaching, as a transformative process of leadership, and why I am so proud to serve you, every day.
This year has been unpredictable, and our digital refresh hasn’t been immune from challenges. And yet, we are nearly there. We have been hard at work behind the scenes, and we’re excited to welcome you to our enhanced website and member experience soon, set to launch in early 2021.
In the meantime, you may experience some interruptions as we fine-tune the new site. Certain critical pieces need to transition over to new systems, and portions of the site may not be available as that switch is completed. Thank you for your patience and as always, if you need anything, please feel free to reach out to us directly by email.
We are incredibly grateful to all of our stakeholders for their continued support—for you, our members, providers, partners and community—for standing by WABC and rising alongside us. We are so excited to share our new and improved services over the coming months, including enhanced directories, digital badges, and much, much more.
As we close out this year, may we rise to the opportunities awaiting us in 2021. Have a safe and happy holiday season.
Looking forward,
Wendy Johnson
